Welcome to the COM Giving Program! Our goal is to connect our students and faculty with the technology, resources, and opportunities to get the most out of our department. The COM Giving Program relies on prior department alumni to donate so we can make necessary improvements, as well as provide more opportunities to current students. So please explore our website! This semester, the students of COM 438: Integrated Marketing Communication - Event Design is raising money through “Benefest” at Mad Mole Brewing on Thursday, November 15 from 5:30pm to 9:30pm to help New Hanover Schools’ recovery efforts following the damages sustained by Hurricane Florence. Funds will be distributed directly to two schools, in the district: Eugene H. Trask Middle School and the International School at Gregory. Trask served as a shelter during the storm and lost many classroom and student supplies, and Gregory lost resources in their media center including books and bookshelves. All donations will be given to these schools to aid in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence.
