"My experience within the Communication Studies program is one that I will never forget.  It was much more than the course work that I found valuable, but the people that I met along the way.  The relationships I built with professors and fellow students are those that I will cherish forever; many of which I still maintain to this day.  There were lessons I learned during my time in the program that I continue to use and refine in my career; lessons such as independence, teamwork, and self-motivation."

What area of classes did you focus on as a COM major?

While Andrew was a student in the Communication Studies program, he was heavily involved in visual communication courses.  

What do you miss most about being a COM student at UNCW?

What I miss most about the Communication Studies program are the professors.  All of the professors that I worked with were concerned about my growth and success after my education.  Between classes, personal coaching sessions, and collaborations, it was great to build those lasting personal relationships.

What is one piece of advice you would give yourself if you could go back?

If I could go back to the Communication Studies program, I would take advantages of the extra opportunities for growth and involvement within the program.
